Canazei

Nestling in a splendid valley, and set in the heart of one of the most important Dolomitic mountain ranges, you will find Canazei, perhaps the most renowned tourist centre in this mountain range.

It has one of the largest centres and boasts a spectacular ski circuit, the Dolomiti Superski, which links four ski areas to Canazei. It is the place for winter sport in the valley; Belvedere, Ciampac, Col Rodella and the Marmolada Glacier all offer sports fans a unique choice of locations, whether for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or other specialist winter sports. Canazei is located at the foot of the Marmolada Glacier, the Queen of the Dolomites, a unique natural phenomenom.

With its colours, sights, sounds and tastes, as well as its beautiful Ladin costumes and traditions, Canazei breathes life into the summer. There are numerous places where guests can practice sports, relax or indulge themselves, and Canazei has a rich array of shops to choose from. And, not least, we can all enjoy the unforgettable Enrosadira, the magnificent sunset which makes the mountains which surround us unique.

The pool is very nice and clean. We went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't crowded, which was fantastic. The pools, including the outdoor one, were the perfect temperature. The pool for small children and the slide with a timer to measure the time were fine.

As promised, I'm writing this 5-star review because I can't give it 10. Everything was perfect: from the welcome, to the cleanliness, to the information. I don't know how anyone could give this property a 1- or 2-star rating. It was 2.5 hours of pure relaxation, and we had a 5-year-old who had fun in both the small and large pools. I repeat: a wonderful experience in an enchanting place.
